Implicit expectations and unsaid norms at work cannot be relied upon as in the past. This has been further exacerbated by lockdowns and remote working – especially amongst the young. An agreement upon: what work is done, how it is done and the manner in which one behaves; is now critical.

Our solution

Our workshops teach the Dowlais technique of ‘alignment and environment’. Alongside carefully chosen activities we bring a group onto the same page in what they are trying to achieve, why they are motivated to achieve it and how they expect one-another to behave along the way.

At the historic MINI Plant on the outskirts of Oxford, we worked with the BMW HR team.
